THE JÄRVENPÄÄ SUZUKI SUMMER COURSE

REGISTRATION STARTS ON JANUARY 2019
The course schedule: daily from 9am to 4pm.
Course days include daily instrument lessons, group lessons, chamber music, a lunch concert, drawing and body percussion.
In 2018 we had participants from all over the world: Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Russia, Poland, Island, Belgium, Britain, Spain and Argentina.
TEACHERS IN 2019 SUZUKI SUMMER COURSE: (some changes are possible)
Suzuki piano master classes by Kristinn Örn Kristinsson (Iceland) (9 students/day + group lesson)
Ruth Miura Suzuki piano classes (Spain) (6 students/day + group lesson)
Other Suzuki piano teachers are Maarit Honkanen, Sirppa Peltonen and Kaisa Saarikorpi.
Suzuki violin classes by Kirsi Ruotsala and Joanna Cydejko-Luja
Suzuki cello classes by Anja Maja
FLUTE & RECORDER
Suzuki flute classes by Pauliina Hauta-aho
Guitar classes for non-Suzuki players by Uwe Florath
Visual arts and body percussion classes are included for all the course participants as well.
COURSE PRICES (depends on the lenght of the daily instrument lesson)
- 15 minutes (optional only for children under 6 years old), 150 euros
- 20 minutes, 180 euros
- 30 minutes, 200 euros
- 45 minutes 250 euros
- Piano Master Class by Marzena Jasinska, 250 euros (30 min. lessons + all other course programme)
The course price includes daily tuition, materials, lunches and coffee/snacks.
The course place (Institute of the Järvenpään seurakuntaopisto) is located by the lakeside in Järvenpää. 20 km up north from Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The location is really beautiful. There are lots of nature and many cultural attractions near the institute. it will be beautiful place to spend summer days.
The institute has a good capacity for accommodation. Accommodation packages include breakfast and supper supplies.
